Fully restored 2012-13.

Gesso on the body was salvageable, and traces of original dappling were enhanced but to all intents and purposes this rocking horse has all new paint that has been antiqued.

 

Smith horses are often mistaken for Lines, there is certainly a similarity in design. We now have three of these and have been extremely pleasantly surprised by their elegance and the quality of their construction - they are just so sturdy! We will try to keep one or two in stock in future...

A large horse from Smith is in transit from England, due to arrive June 2013. (See right)
